Berlin, prepare for TOA conference (15th – 17th of July)

PreviousNext

If you are in Berlin right now (and have 80-300 € to spend and 2-3 days of holidays (or “spontanious sickness” *cough* *cough*)) then don’t miss the awesome TOA conference, probably the most un-nerdy thing in its area: A three-day mix of serious conference talks, bar-camps / unconference, hippiness, meet’n’greet / connecting, parties etc., and all this indoor and outdoor. Price is 80 € ($88) for students or 300 € ($330) for regular visitors. The ticket price covers free food and free drinks (!). This entire event will happen on a center place plus 140+ different locations all over the city (!).

Have a look on these awesome talks (I mean, seriously, this is hardcore!):

The Future of Music
by Daniel Haver (CEO, Native Instruments) and Eric Wahlforss (Co-Founder and CTO, SoundCloud)

Think Launching A Startup Is Hard? Try it in Gaza!
by Said Hassan (Acceleration Manager, Gaza Sky Geeks)

Killer Robots in War and Civil Society
by Noel Sharkey – Emeritus Professor, University of Sheffield

and talks like How to Train a Robot (Max-Planck-Institut), The Future of Hyperloop Transport, and How to Not Work for Assholes.

Also hosting events: Kickstarter, SoundCloud, Native Instruments, Zalando, Shazam, Dubsmash, Tumblr, BITKOM (german tech federation), ]init[, Blacklane, Outfittery, Fyber, betahaus, 99designs, SAP, Lieferando, EyeEm, Axel Springer, RapidApe, Sofatutor, Silicon Allee, Aklamio, Uber, ShareTheMeal / United Nations World Food Programme, Razorfish, Delivery Hero, Adsquare, Rocket Internet, etc. (this list is just 25% of all).

If you have the chance, then definitly go there ! It will be awesome. Find the event’s homepage here.
