Material Design – How Google designed Android L (7min video)

PreviousNext

A very interesting insight into Android L’s (= Android 5.0) new design and the ideas behind. Android was always #3 behind Windows Mobile and iOS when it comes to look and usability, but Android 5 / L is a game-changer. I love the “just show the minimum elements necessary to transport the information”-approach. And by the way: Nice shirt/jacket-combination, Mr. Duarte.

Also: This seems to be the #1 UI design trend in 2015. Keep your eyes up for this and check the awesome article on The Verge.
