Meet the developers behind Ableton (14min video)

PreviousNext

An excellent short documentation about the developers behind Ableton, the legendary creators of Ableton Live and Push. Without doubt, Live is one of the most influential pieces of software ever made in the context of music production / arrangement, used nearly everywhere. This video gives a little insight into the daily work process of Ableton, how they do Hackatons and what it means for these guys to work in this fine company. Definitly worth watching, especially for developers with a background in music production.

Ableton is hiring currently, so if you are interested working as a C++ developer, ScrumMaster or Interface Designer, get in contact. This is much more than just a job. FYI the main office is in Berlin, Germany, but Ableton also runs a satellite office in Los Angeles, USA.

Also very interesting: Kerry Hopwood, the on-stage technician of Depeche Mode about using Live on stage.

“Hi, my name is Kerry Hopwood, and I’m the programmer of this wonderful band: Depeche Mode.”
