vagrant

Excellent new web tool: Protobox allows extremely easy setup of Vagrant boxes using a wonderful web UI. Beside the standard stuff (PHP, Apache, MySQL) Protobox also offers HipHop (stable plus nightly builds!), Nginx, PHP 5.3 / 5.4 / 5.5, RabbitMQ, Beanstalkd, IronMQ, Amazon SQS, New Relic, Ngrok tunnel and pre-installed WordPress, Laravel, Drupal, Lemonstand, PyroCMS, Sylius and Symfony.

vagrant boxes with protoboxes

There are also pre-configured boxes (currently only one: WordPress on Nginx with PHP 5.5).

The project is open-source (so you can add you own features) and very fresh, so expect even more features in the future!

And by the way, there’s an alternative with similar features, called PuPHPet: http://puphpet.com
